Who can sell Pillowise?

Chiropractors (DC), physical therapists (PT/DPT) and licensed massage therapists (LMT). Pillowise is not sold in retail stores, and there is no direct consumer webshop. Patients and clients find a provider through Find a Reseller and book a measurement, which is free at every reseller.

How does the measuring work?

The fitting uses three body measurements plus two preferences. It fits into a regular visit. For a closer look at the appointment itself, read what happens in a pillow fitting.

Measure shoulder width.
Measure neck circumference at C4/C5 (below the Adam's apple for men).
Measure neck height, from the mastoid process diagonally to the outer edge of the acromion.
Record sleeping position. This is the position in which the patient falls asleep: side, back or stomach. If the patient has no idea, enter side.
Record mattress firmness: soft, medium or firm. If the patient does not know, choose medium. This also applies to memory foam mattresses and hotels.

Ideally a second person takes the measurements. You can measure with PillowScan on a mobile device (pillowscan.pillowise-usa.com) or manually, following the steps on our measurement page.

The system indicates the right size for about 95% of people. Weight is not part of the calculation. A heavier person sinks deeper into the mattress and may need a lower pillow, so check how the head and neck rest on the pillow and adjust if needed, for example during pregnancy.

How many sizes are there?

The Pillowise algorithm chooses one of 7 sizes. Five factors are combined: the three measurements, sleeping position and mattress firmness. Two people with very different bodies can therefore end up with the same size. The standard pillow measures 22 x 14 in and has a core of 100% premium Dutch memory foam that is non-toxic and latex-free. The cover is 40% Tencel and 60% polyester, removable, and machine washable at 104°F. See all sizes on the pillows page.

What is in the display package, and what does it cost?

The Display Package Deal costs $449. It includes:

measuring tapes
full use of the online software
one complimentary pillow

Patient brochures (pack of 25), measuring pads and extra tapes are available in the reseller shop.

Is there a minimum order?

No. Order what your practice needs, including single pillows by drop ship.

Can you drop ship in my practice's name?

Yes. Pillowise can drop ship directly to the patient in the name of the reseller. You do not need to hold inventory. The patient takes the measurement result home as a pillow, and you keep the relationship.

What are the suggested retail prices?

What about margin?

Resellers make a healthy margin. We do not publish wholesale prices or income examples on public pages. You see your pricing once your account is active.

Is Pillowise sold on Amazon?

No. Pillowise is not sold on Amazon or in retail stores, and selling it on Amazon is not allowed. Your practice therefore does not compete with online discount prices.

What do patients get: guarantee and warranty?

30-day comfort guarantee. We ask patients to give the pillow 7-10 days to adjust. After that, they can exchange it for another size or return it for a refund within 30 days of purchase. The customer pays return shipping, and shipping charges are not refunded. If a patient wants to exchange for another size, check the measurements and the sleeping position again first.

5-year warranty. It covers material and production faults. It does not cover normal changes in firmness, improper use, wear and tear, contamination or damage after delivery. Is a fitted pillow part of care?

We position it as an adjunct to care, not a treatment for a neck or shoulder condition. You assess and treat in your office.
